What is “Stoic”?

“Stoicism” is an Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy of life. Great Stoics such as Epictetus, Seneca, and Marcus Aurelius believed “One should clearly distinguish between events that one has control over, and those that one cannot control.” This is the basis of thinking needed to reach one’s maximum potential as a human being. At Stoic Barbershop™, we apply this philosophy to the elements of the timeless gentleman with the aesthetics of today’s modern man. In doing so, we create a customer experience unique in quality, service, and sense of community.
